MEET THE DESIGNERS
kIM-LY
Kim-LY is a multi-disciplinary artist, makeup extraordinaire and accessory designer whose creative journey has always centered around beauty, a unique style and self-expression.
With more than two decades of experience in the beauty industry including work as a professional makeup artist in television and film, Kim-LY developed an instinctive eye for color, texture, proportion, and transformation. That same artistic vision eventually moved and propelled her into the world of fashion and accessory design.
After years of creating unique art through different textile mediums, Kim-LY discovered another creative outlet through crotchet. What began as an exploration quickly evolved into a signature collection of bold, oversized, handcrafted hats that commanded attention and sparked an overwhelming response.

DoviArt Fashion is a visionary brand founded by Lithuanian-born designer Dovilė Riebschlager, celebrated for transforming scientific concepts, emotional narratives, and tactile experimentation into avant-garde, wearable art. Each collection blends textile innovation with sculptural design, offering one-of-a-kind pieces that challenge convention and celebrate individuality.
Based in Chicago, DoviArt Fashion serves art-driven clients through bespoke garments, curated exhibitions, and interdisciplinary collaborations. Featured at New York and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks, Miami Swim, Honolulu Swim and Erlendur Fashion Week Iceland, along with national and international publications. Her deep understanding of the industry’s environmental toll inspired her to advocate for a new, conscious approach to fashion.
Arthouse is a Fashion House based in Chicago. The designs take reference from a vast collection of inspirations including nature, graffiti, elegance, class, grunge, street style, expressionism, and gallery museum aesthetics. From bomber jackets and baggy jeans to corsets and couture pieces Arthouse strides to make fully inclusive garments from style to size. Creative director Josh Drews crosses different styles and genres for every collection with the ethical sourcing of the fabrics being the thread holding the branding aesthetics together.

ALLISON GALVAN
Allison Galvan is an emerging Chicago designer and recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Fashion Design from Dominican University.
She has been recognized by the Chicago Tribune and honored with the Neiman Marcus Distinguished Designer award for retail by the Driehaus Design Award Show. At just 22 years old she is making her fashion presence as a designer known. Her focus is to blend RTW with unique styles and elements of crochet. Each piece created is intentional in detail and holds a love for art and fashion colliding to embrace confidence & originality.
Allison is this year’s recipient of our Emerging Visionary Designer Award. In addition to receiving mentorship, she will receive a fashion show at this year’s Chicago Fashion Showcase.

Originally from Detroit and based in Chicago. With more than 25 years, Lauren brings over three decades of design experience with past features at Neiman Marcus and Marshall Field’s. Known for her theatrical flair and attention to detail, Lauren’s designs celebrate individuality, confidence, and the transformative power of fashion.

Runway ShowFounded by Dana Asady, aŚady represents the elegant intersection of intellect, artistry, and heritage. With a background in science and engineering, Dana built a career defined by precision, innovation, and leadership before turning that same analytical mastery toward her lifelong passion — fashion design. Her journey from data to draping gave birth to a couture philosophy where structure meets soul, and every gown is a study in harmony between craftsmanship and emotion.
Before launching her bridal line, Dana’s ready-to-wear collections under the aŠady label captivated editors and stylists across international fashion weeks and earned features in imprint press releases, editorial shoots, and celebrity wardrobes. Her designs have graced red carpets, been pulled for major film premieres, and celebrated by women who embody quiet confidence and refined power.
Mabrook marks Dana’s return to her roots — an ode to her Iraqi heritage and her belief that true luxury lies in meaning. Every gown is designed for the woman who is ready to be seen, not for her status, but for her story

Pam Kala is the founder and designer behind KINISONI, a Chicago based womenswear brand rethinking what it means for clothing to be versatile. Jemila Bwanhot is the Founder and Creator of Alimaj Essentials, an Afro-centric, Chicago-based hair care brand creating plant-powered products designed to support healthy, beautiful hair.
With a degree in Economics and a background in banking in Nigeria, Jemila relocated to the United States and took a bold step into entrepreneurship, founding Alimaj Essentials in 2020. What began as a personal passion for hair care has evolved into a growing brand rooted in thoughtful formulation, botanical ingredients, and education.
A certified cosmetic formulator, Jemila combines her expertise in formulation with her passion for helping women make informed choices about caring for their hair. Under her leadership, Alimaj Essentials has earned recognition for its commitment to quality and conscious beauty, including the 2024 Earth Day Beauty Award.
CARMEN SEMINARIO
Runway ShowCarmen Seminario is a Peruvian fashion designer with over 15 years of experience in bridal, eveningwear, and bespoke tailoring. Internationally trained, she specialized in Bridal and Ceremony Design in Barcelona and later studied tailoring at London College of Fashion.
Throughout her career, Carmen has dressed players from Peru’s National Football Team, as well as international artists and personalities.
Now based in Chicago, Carmen continues to work closely with her atelier in Lima, bringing together her Peruvian heritage, international training, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship to create pieces that are distinctive, personal, and made to be remembered.
